iSurf runs group lessons that are great fun
We run group lessons that are great fun and designed to kickstart or progress your existing skills. Group surfing lessons can be a mixture of adults and children so they are ideal for individuals of any age from 8 years upwards, families, groups of friends, etc. Group size is generally up to 24 participants (ratio of 1:8).
Please note we are a fully mobile surf school, in order to give you the best experience we need this flexibility. We will communicate any changes to the location, the evening before by txt msg (make sure you give us your mobile number on booking) so make sure you ‘opt in’ to txt messages. We will also send you detailed information by email.
In the booking confirmation, there are details for our main teaching area at the Compton Farm end of Compton beach…assume this location if you do not hear otherwise.
Our locations could be anywhere from Compton to Shanklin, Sandown, Yaverland, Whitecliff so please bare this in mind and only book if you are able to travel to these places as we will not offer any refund for cancellations due to this change in location.

All our surfing lessons will take place at the Compton Farm end of Compton Beach (aka Fields) nearest postcode PO30 4HF; all of these details will be in your confirmation email. If we need to relocate the lesson for any reason then we will contact you the evening before by email and text message so it is important to provide us with your mobile number in the booking.
Please note there are no facilities at this particular beach, there is a toilet just down the road (2-minute drive) and we suggest you make a visit prior to your session. As we do not have changing rooms, we suggest changing into your swim clothes prior to your session.

Please bring something to wear underneath your wetsuit i.e. swimming shorts, costumes, etc., a towel, suncream, drink, and warm clothes for afterward. If you have your own wetsuit then please feel free to bring it along if you wish.

Before your sessions please download the NHS Track and Trace app for the Isle of Wight. Once you arrive at the session location you will be able to scan a QR code via the Track and Trace app…it is really easy to do and takes seconds and will help the fight against COVID-19.
